Objectives of the Course

The participants learn how to apply the different approaches and methods for the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects.

At the end of the course the participants should be able to:

  • explain the history and foundations of participatory approaches
  • Identify and implement the different phases of participatory methods in during the elaboration of a participatory project or programme
  • Distinguish the different degrees of participation and choose whihc degree fits best for which purpose
  • To apply the principles and attitudes necessary for participatory approaches
